Douglas “Milt” Burnett, age 39, passed away suddenly at his home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Thursday, July 29, 2010
A memorial service will be Tuesday, August 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Webb & Rodrick Chapel. Memorial Remembrances may be made to Grace Memorial United Methodist Church or A.W.O.L and may be left at the Funeral Home.
Douglas “Milt” was born November 12, 1970 in Independence, the son of C. Dean Burnett & Helen L. (Burns) Burnett. He was raised in Independence and graduated from Independence High School and also attended Independence Community College.
Douglas “Milt” was united in marriage to Robyn Spohn on March 26, 2010, she survives of the home. Other survivors include his children: daughters , Danielle and Tayler, his parents Dean & Helen Burnett of Independence, his brother Danny Burnett of Independence and his grandmother, Florence Burnett of Independence. He was preceded in death by older brother David Dean Burnett on July 29, 2009.
