Jackie VanDyne, age 48, of St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Independence, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at a St. Cloud, MN hospital.
Mrs. VanDyne was born February 14, 1963 in Independence, the daughter of Jack and Betty (Thurman) Guffey. She attended Independence Public Schools.
She married Rick VanDyne in Independence and they were later divorced.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Sherley of Independence, sister, Joan Scott of Wichita, KS, two daughters, Sherry VanDyne of Kansas City, KS and Cassie Blagg of Wichita, KS along with 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and a daughter.
Cremation has taken place with graveside services being held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Mount Hope Cemetery with Pastor Willie Jones of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church presiding. Memorial remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home.
